This is a affordable way to get one our new easy to use Logman X tenon makers.The Logman X will work great with or with-out this feature.
The New router bracket design holds router motors with-out router bases. Fast router motor attachment & easy access when changing router bits.
Uses wood guides that make 5 different tenon diameters of any length. The tenon diameters are ,5/8″,1″ 1-1/2″ 2″ & 2-3/4″, or use the new threaded rod feature that allows you make tenon diameters from 1″ all the way up to 8″.
Because the threaded rod tilts you can make tenons that are tapered alot or just a little.You can use almost any router bit when using the threaded rod feature to make different shoulders.
The Logman x can be mounted to the top or side of a work bench which works great when putting tenons on heavy longer logs. If you are looking to build log furniture, log hand railing or even make fence post stakes then this is the right tool for you. All you need is a 2 or more HP woodworking router with a 1/2 collet and a removable base. To use the threaded rod, all you do is put a 1/4 diameter hole 1/2 to 1″ deep on each end of the log. When you use the optional log holder & the threaded rod feature together you can easily put tenons on bent logs & keep your tenons in-line.The hardest thing to do when building log furniture is putting tenons on bent logs. You can also make a wrap around shouldered tenon .
